I'm Kelly — a proud single mom, PR professional, trail runner, and passionate advocate for alcohol empowerment. With a 20-year career in fundraising and communications and a background in competitive running, including a national championship personal best with the University of Guelph, I’ve combined my passions to create something meaningful.
After reassessing my relationship with alcohol over the past 2 years, I’ve embraced a sober lifestyle and found strength, clarity, and community in the journey.
The Dry Run Club is a space for sober and sober-curious runners to connect, support one another, and pursue healthier, happier lives—together.
I’m proud to lead this movement while continuing my work as Public Relations and Communications Manager at Hospice Georgian Triangle.
Currently, I am a volunteer with Run for Her, a charitable trail run for Ovarian Cancer Canada (The Dry Run’s charity of choice). I am also a Trail Captain for the Town of Collingwood.
I established The Dry Run Club as a supportive network for sober and soberish runners who strive to find better lifestyles together.
I have lost:
At this point in time, I have decided to choose my health, happiness and my desire to thrive.
No matter where you are on your path, you're welcome here.
Ready to run dry? Let’s do this. 💜
